Colon cancer

Colon cancer is the third most prevalent cancer in both men and women alike, and third in its "contribution" to the overall number of malignancy-related deaths. Colon cancer is distinguished by a predictable natural history – a predictability which allows for screening tests for early detection in the general population, and especially, in at-risk populations.
The accumulated knowledge about the disease's natural history, the ability to better tailor the treatment to the individual patient and to predict the patient's response to specific drugs are encompassed by Advantest – Oncotest's wide variety of available tests.

·    Disease Prognosis evaluation for patients that are candidate for adjuvant therapy

·    Treatment in advanced disease settings in the event of disease resistance to first-line treatment

·    Optimization of treatment options (both chemical and biological) for each patient, and for each tumor
