► Oncology ► Lymphoma
LymphomaLymphoma is a generalized name for a group of diseases differentiated from each other according to the specific population of hyperproliferating cells, as well as their characteristics which distinguish them from other cells, including cells in the lymphatic system. A large number of these diseases involve lymphocytic cells originating from B lymphocytes, carrying unique molecular identification molecules on their cell surface, known as CD molecules (Clusters of Differentiation). These molecules serve as targets for treatments that neutralize these cells while inflicting little damage to healthy cells. Oncotest – Advantest offers a test for detecting those lymphomas which may be treated using a drug targeting B lymphocytes, inhibiting their tendency for malignant proliferation and development. |
