Prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the most prevalent cancer among men, and is second in its "contribution" to the total number of cancer-related deaths in men.
This disease, often considered to be the "natural history" of the prostate, is accordingly common in elderly men, and therefore, does not necessarily shorten their life spans.

However, when the disease first appears in the fifth, sixth and even seventh decade of life, it may cause considerable suffering and significantly shorten the patient's life.
As a hereditary/familial tendency for developing certain types of prostate cancer has been proven, Oncotest – Advantest now presents you with the opportunity to find, through genetic testing, each patient's individual risk for developing the disease, and in this way, to determine the frequency according to which each patient should be monitored through physical examination and blood testing used for screening and early detection of the disease at its curable stages.
